Hmm, I did like this book, lots of good things going for it.
Cassiel is a likeable heroine, maybe a little to whiny and perhaps way to stubborn. I had a hard time with her some of her choices, but that is beside the point.
I liked Prime Ori'ic, but of course I am a sucker for sexy alpha males, but I liked that he was about to try to make it work between him and Cassie before Cassiel decided to be stupid again.
Why I thought it was a good book, the beginning was somewhat slow, and her briefings before mission were slightly jumbled and went to fast.
The story kinda reminded me of Evangeline Anderson's Brides of the Kindred series (of which I have read 3 of her 8 books), except dialed way down on the sex. The series is meant for adults though, so take that in consideration before making your own comparison.
